I’m Vandana Konidala from the first batch in Jan 2017 at APCA Bangalore. An interior designer turned pastry chef and co owner at Delistic, Bangalore. Driven by my passion for the pastry and chocolate arts, I have collected accolades as the Winner of the Junior Pastry Championship of India which led me to participate in the juniors Campionato Mondaiale Pasticceria held in sigep Rimni, Italy in which our team ranked 4th in the world. I have also assisted Team India in the Asian Pastry Cup in Singapore 2018. I also enhanced my skills by doing the intensive course at APCA, Malaysia

I fell in love with baking at a very young age all thanks to my mom and when the is so scrumptious who wouldn’t. I had decided to be a pastry chef after I graduated as a business student and joined Academy of Pastry Arts, Mumbai. It was everything and more than what I had asked for. I was introduced to a whole new level of creativity that I didn’t know pastry and baking had. I am grateful to all the chefs who taught me how to play with sugar and chocolate.

These were best 9 months of my life, I wish I can relive them. All of the chefs have a lot of knowledge & experiences to share. I joined this academy once I was done with my 12th grade, and the reason why I enrolled for the program is I always wanted to become a cake artist, and this gave a very nice platform to begin with. Once my 9 months were complete, we went out for internship hunting, instead the academy gave me an opportunity for a job at Trident Nariman point & I took it up in a jiffy. You will receive a Certification of Completion from APCA Malaysia, along with an internationally recognised Advanced Diploma from City & Guilds, UK. These two certifications strengthen your global employability and validates your skills to industry standards worldwide.
